Privacy Policy
Last updated: 23 August 2026
This policy explains what personal information Yura Moskviak ("we", "us") collects when you use yuramoskviak.com, why we collect it, and the choices you have. We keep data collection to what the site actually needs to work.
Information we collect
- Account details you provide: your name, email address, and password (passwords are stored only as a secure hash, never in plain text).
- Learning activity: which courses and lessons you open and your progress, so we can show where you left off.
- Payment information when you buy a course. Card details are entered directly with our payment processor (Stripe) and are never stored on our servers — we only receive a record that a payment succeeded and which course it unlocked.
- Booking details when you reserve a lesson through Cal.com (name, email, chosen time).
- Basic technical data your browser sends automatically (e.g. IP address, device and browser type) and privacy-respecting usage analytics.
How we use your information
- To create and secure your account and let you sign in.
- To give you access to courses, track progress, and process purchases and lessons.
- To send essential service messages (e.g. sign-in, receipts, booking confirmations).
- To send optional newsletters — only if you opted in, and you can unsubscribe anytime.
- To keep the site secure, prevent abuse, and meet our legal obligations.
Service providers who process data for us
We use trusted third parties strictly to run the service. Each handles only the data needed for its job:
- Convex — application database, authentication, and file storage.
- Stripe — payment processing.
- Cal.com — lesson scheduling and booking.
- Mux — secure hosting and streaming of course videos.
- Vercel — website hosting and delivery.
- Resend — sending account and (if you opt in) newsletter emails.
- Meta (Facebook) — advertising measurement. Only if you accept optional cookies. It records which pages you visit and whether you took the free test or bought a course, and it receives a scrambled (hashed) version of the email address you give us so it can tell whether you arrived from one of our ads. It cannot read your answers, your results, or your course progress. If you decline cookies, none of this is loaded at all.
International transfers
Some of these providers process data on servers outside Quebec and Canada, including in the United States and the European Union. Where required, we rely on the providers’ own safeguards for such transfers.
How long we keep it
We keep account and learning data for as long as your account is active. If you close your account, we delete or anonymise your personal data within a reasonable period, except where we must keep records (for example, payment records) to meet legal or accounting obligations.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or export your personal data, and to withdraw consent. To make a request, email us at info@yuramoskviak.com and we will respond within a reasonable time.
Cookies
We use cookies and similar technologies that are necessary to keep you signed in and to remember your preferences. We also use optional analytics and advertising cookies, including Meta’s, which measure how our ads perform. Those load only if you accept them, you can decline them without losing any part of the site, and you can change your mind at any time. You can also control cookies through your browser settings.
Children
The site is intended for adult learners. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 16 without appropriate consent.
Changes and contact
We may update this policy from time to time; the date above shows the latest version. Questions or requests: info@yuramoskviak.com.
