You already understand. Now to speak.
Ten lessons one to one, so you can stop translating every sentence in your head and just say it. You already know more than you manage to get out.
Take the ten lessonsHear how I explain it
Here are two minutes from my video course. A lesson runs the other way round: you do the talking, and we learn to feel the language together.
Our lessons actually feel more like conversations with a best friend — someone I can talk to about everything.
I stopped being so afraid of mistakes and started actually using the language instead of overthinking every sentence.
I'm an English teacher and I coach the American accent. I started teaching at twenty — that's eighteen years ago now.
What it costs
$750 for ten lessons of 50 minutes — that works out at $75 a lesson, where a single lesson with me is $85. And no date to race against: the lessons don't expire.
Enter the code VERESEN55 at checkout and $750 becomes $550. It runs to the end of September, and I'm not going to invent a deadline.
What's included
- Ten 50-minute lessons — one to one, live, over video.
- The lessons don't expire. Not in a month, not in a year — you take them at whatever pace fits your life.
- We build the plan around you: what actually goes wrong for you, not the next page of a textbook.
- You do most of the talking. I listen and correct in the moment, not at the end once the sentence is gone.
- You pick your times in the calendar — and move them when life gets in the way.
The moment you pay, a page opens with a link to the calendar — save it, because that's where you book every lesson. No need to plan all ten in advance: take your time when it suits.
If the first lesson isn't for you, I refund the rest
Here's the deal: after the first lesson, you decide. Not for you — just write to me, and I'll refund the full amount for the other nine. No forms, no "let's try one more", no explaining yourself. I don't want money for lessons that aren't working for you. It's cleaner for both of us that way.
What people ask me
What if my English is too weak to start?
Weak is when you don't understand. Yours is the other thing: you understand plenty, you just can't get it out fast enough. School gave you reading and writing, and nobody there taught speaking — so what's missing isn't knowledge, it's practice out loud. And from the first lesson, the one speaking is you, not me.
I don't have the time.
Then these ten lessons are built for exactly that. No "every Tuesday at seven" — you take a lesson when you can: once a week, once a month. The lessons don't expire, so a week without English costs you nothing. Just don't vanish for six months, because then we're recovering ground you already had.
How is this better than an app or a course?
A course and an app give you a system, and that's worth a lot. But no screen hears you say "I am agree", or asks why you chose that tense. A live lesson does what video can't: it listens to you and corrects you the same second. They also go well together — take the theory from a course, and do the speaking here.
What actually happens in a lesson?
Fifty minutes in which you do most of the talking. First we find where it breaks — one conversation is usually enough to see it. Then we take whatever gets in the way most and work it out loud until it starts coming by itself. At the end we agree where we're starting next time.
What if I need to move a lesson?
You move it in the calendar — the link is in your confirmation email, and the exact notice period is shown when you book. Let me know in advance rather than five minutes before, and we'll find another time. The lesson doesn't go anywhere: it doesn't expire.
